Having spent the last 10 months at college, with some instruction and interaction with my peers I feel strangely adrift... Lost... My cats have even abandoned me, seeking out new little furry things to terrorise...
But on the lighter side, I have purchased a new lens. I found a Tamron SP 150-600mm lens at a price I could not overlook... The lens had been reconditioned by the manufacturer, so is like new.
This new toy has given me a new focus - no pun intended! - to concentrate on. It's been fixed to my camera ready to go at all times.
I've used it a couple of times and it's a serious piece of glassware. The downside for me is it's weight, it's heavy, very heavy... My tripod is now a permanent fixture on location shoots so it can handle the camera and lens for me.

Taken at Newark Canoe Club Lake at Thurlby, Lincoln 14/07/2019. Group of kayakers away for a paddle around the lake...
I'm looking forward to using this new addition to my camera kit in the future at places as Whisby Nature Park or Gibraltar Point.
Need an upgrade in camera now!! Think a nice little D800 would be just right...
