Newark Canoe Club
I take a lot of photographs for Newark Canoe Club at their lake at Thurlby. I supply some photos for their Open Days and other days for their website, facebook page and other media.
The Club is open Sundays all year round, they have different opening times for Winter and Summer.
Everyone is welcome at the Club as it is family orientated. Over the summer months they do the children's Paddle Power courses one evening a week.
Over the years I have been with Newark Canoe Club I have watched the new paddlers, young and the not so young, go from very hesitant to very confident on the water thanks to the patience of the qualified Coaches there.
The Club is based at Thurlby Lake, but they do run river trips, white water training, weekends away, camping over some weekends during summer and they also run training for the Star Awards and Safety Courses.
